Organization AT Devices, Tools, and Resources

iPads – Can help a person plan, organize, and keep track of their calendar, schedule, task list, contact information, and miscellaneous notes. Tons of information can be stored and organized within an iPad. The benefit of using iPads in class for students is it allows them to keep everything stored in one place so that the possibility of losing the information is less.
iPads on SAMR: Augmentation, because iPads act as a substitute to having many areas organize a student’s information, with the functional improvement of being more organized.
Microsoft OneNote – Allows the user to create and store electronic notes by “jotting down” relevant information of any length and on any subject. The student can later retrieve the information by typing any fragment of the original note. The benefit of Microsoft OneNote is it stores and organizes notes that can later be retrieved for the student.

Classroom Cubbies – Help a student with organizing their belongings in the classroom. There can be multiple cubbies in one classroom per kid, backpack bubby, lunch cubby, and classwork cubbies. The benefit of cubbies is a student can learn to keep their things organized within the classroom with the use of this low-tech organization based AT tool.
